Monitoring locations are the agents that verify your monitor from different regions.

Multiple locations help you understand whether an issue is global, regional or close to your origin server.

How to choose locations

Start with locations near your users. Add distant locations when you want better global visibility.

If a distant location is slower but nearby locations are healthy, that may be normal network distance. If nearby locations are slow too, the issue is more likely to be real server or routing degradation.

Plan access

Some locations may require a higher plan. Locked locations remain visible so you can understand what extra coverage is available before upgrading.
